  According to a old story, where there is the Devine Lights of Devi Jwala, the tongue of the Bhagwati Sati had fallen after being cut from the Sudharshan of Lord Vishnu and merged in the earth. In those days, no one used to stay here as it was a forest but some milkman's used to bring their cows for gazing in this place. One milkman was surprized to se that whenever his cow name Kapila used to pass that place her milk was finished. This happened many times. Hence, one day he followed the cow to look for the person who drank the milk and saw that a small girl aged between 8-9 years came close to the cow with her tongue out and kissed her and started drinking the milk.
