The Yatra Beings at Katra and pilgrims have to cover 13 kms. The entire  route is quite wide and tiled. The whole route is swept and cleaned from time to time throughout the day. Drinking water has been made available all along the route, with water coolers and storage facilities.

1 km. away from Katra, you would find Baan Ganga, place where Mata quenched her thirst.

After 1.5 kms. you would find Charan Paduka Temple.

After 6 kms. of trekking, you would reach Adi Kumari. The holy cave where Mata Meditated for nine months.

After 9.5 kms. you would find Sanjhi Chhat where you can rest for sometime.
Bhawan is just 3.5 kms. away from the Sanji Chhat.

Collect the Registration Slip issued at the Tourist Registration Centre Located at Bus Stand Katra. This slip is issued free of Cost.

Take official receipts for all payments made during the yatra.

Official rate lists for all services are available. Demand to see them when making payments.

Take the services of only Registered Pithus, Pony or the Dandiwala.

Take rest at even intervals to avoid over stress
Keep your luggage at Govt. Luggage Rooms.

Avoid Smoking during the yatra and keep the way as clean as possible.

Donations made to the Shrine are exempted from Income Tax under the Income Tax Act.
